Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to QuickTix, a New Zealand-based ticketing platform designed to make buying tickets simple, fast, and fair. We sell tickets exclusively to events organised by QuickTix or by trusted partners associated with us.
By using quicktix.online, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to comply with New Zealand laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
2. What We Do
QuickTix Ltd operates the QuickTix platform solely for the sale of event tickets. We do not:
-
Allow others to list or sell tickets through our site
-
Sell merchandise or non-ticket items
-
Support resale or third-party ticketing
All events on our site are managed directly by QuickTix or our affiliated organisers.
3. Ticket Purchase Terms
a. Final Sales
All ticket sales are final unless a refund is required by New Zealand consumer law. We are not required to provide refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind or incorrect selections.
b. Ticket Delivery
Tickets are delivered by email only in PDF format. You can show your ticket on a mobile device or print it for event entry.
If you haven’t received your ticket within 48 hours of the event, check your spam/junk folder or submit a form on our Contact Us page.
4. Event Changes or Cancellations
Events may be postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, performer illness, venue changes).
If an event is cancelled, you’ll receive a refund for the ticket price (excluding booking fees), provided the ticket was purchased directly from quicktix.online
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. We will notify you using the email address provided at the time of purchase.
5. Entry Requirements
You are responsible for checking any age restrictions or entry conditions listed for an event before purchasing a ticket.
To enter the event, you may be required to present:
-
A valid ticket (emailed PDF)
-
A valid photo ID (NZ driver’s licence, passport, or Kiwi Access card)
Entry may be denied without refund if you fail to meet event entry requirements.
6. Ticket Resale and Scalping
You may not:
-
Resell tickets for more than the original price
-
Offer tickets for resale on third-party sites (e.g. Viagogo, Facebook Marketplace, etc.)
-
Use tickets for promotions, advertising, or giveaways without written consent
Tickets sold in breach of this clause may be cancelled without refund, and entry may be denied.
7. Ticket Limits and Pricing
Each event may include limits on the number of tickets that can be purchased per transaction. We reserve the right to cancel orders that exceed these limits or that appear to violate fair access policies.
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Ticket prices may vary based on demand, special offers, or promotional periods.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
QuickTix provides the platform “as-is” and “as-available.” While we aim for accuracy and availability, we do not guarantee:
-
That the site will be uninterrupted or error-free
-
That event information is always accurate or up-to-date
-
That email delivery of tickets will be immune to delays outside our control (e.g. spam filters or server errors)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickTix is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from:
-
Use of our website or ticket delivery system
-
Event changes, cancellations, or venue policies
-
Third-party actions, including venue or performer issues
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
9. Changes to These Terms
QuickTix may update these Terms at any time. Updates apply only to future purchases. We recommend checking periodically for updates.
10. Contact Us
